New site started up that''s great if you want to build an early bankroll as they have 4 freerolls an hour during their beta period. I''ve built up a roll of $53 so far and hope to kick ass in their $1000 freeroll on New Years Day.

Just downloaded this app from the iTunes store called "How to Play Poker" from WatchDoit. Cool app, it got me back into card games and I was wondering if there were any other great apps or resources for learning various card games.

the iphone has a number of great apps: the best FREE apps are PreflopOdds, it took me only a month to memorize all combinations of preflop using this program, a number of Heads Up trainers, Poker Trainer, OddsTeacher, and the Free version of PkrCruncher are all very good. I have never used the paid for programs line WSOP (I believe there is a fill up or subscription fee). Crazy as it sounds two of the best tools are Candywriters game Imagine Poker, as it has an odds calculator (the excellent Poker Ghost) meaning that for every card and no matter whether it''s 7,6,5,4,3,2, or heads-up you can train your odds awareness: very useful indeed; the otver is that old favorite Governor Of Poker, again sounds crazy, but set on tough it is an excellent training tool! Otver than that: i have several pages of websites and blogs that I have bookmarked as "homepage icons" and created several pages for, and also, very valuably, I use YouTube on wifi and have created a large library....(and found this forum via YouTube)... hope this helps? Any other suggestions? |

Usually its to avoid giving tells. They do talk though, sometimes to be a pain in your butt.
I can''t remember his full name, it was Sam something who always showed up to the poker series and antagonized the other players.

Hey all, i want to know how do they calculate the hand match ups.
Eg: AA comparing with J10, how did they calculate that AA is 78% whereas J10 is 22%.
